Clarington Moves Towards Becoming a Bicycle-Friendly Community

On June 6, 2022, during a General Government Committee meeting, a resolution was passed directing the Director of Public Works to report back on the feasibility of making Clarington a bicycle-friendly community. The resolution, moved by Councillor Jones and seconded by Councillor Hooper, aims to explore potential changes that could enhance cycling infrastructure and promote cycling as a viable mode of transportation within the municipality.
