Clarington Library Announces Winter 2025 Book Clubs

The Clarington Public Library, Museums & Archives has announced its schedule for winter book clubs in 2025. These clubs cater to different age groups and interests, providing a platform for community members to engage in literary discussions.

Adult Book Clubs

Lunchtime Book Club at Bowmanville Library

• February 26, 12pm: Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver

• March 26, 12pm: The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman

Children's Book Clubs

• Kid's Book Club at Courtice Library

  • February 11, 4pm: Fish in a Tree by Lynda Mullaly Hunt

  • March 18, 4pm: The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland

  • Grades 3-7

  • January 22, 4pm: Alice Fleck's Recipes for Disaster by Rachelle Delaney

  • February 19, 4pm: Elvis, Me, and the Lemonade Stand Summer by Leslie Gentile

  • March 19, 4pm: The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland

Each session requires registration, which can be completed online through the library's website. These book clubs offer an opportunity for participants to explore new books and engage in discussions with fellow readers.
