Clarington Library Announces December Holiday Events
The Clarington Public Library, Museums, and Archives (CLMA) have announced a series of holiday programs and events for December. These activities are designed for various age groups, including adults, youth, and children.
Key events include:

Holiday Tree Lighting Storytime: Scheduled at the Bowmanville Library on Friday, December 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This event is open to all ages and includes a storytime session followed by seasonal crafts and hot chocolate.

Festive Fun: Taking place at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre on Saturday, December 7, at 2 pm. This event is for children in grades 1-5 and requires registration. Participants will tour the decorated Waverley Place and engage in traditional crafts.

Santa's Workshop: Hosted at the Courtice Library on Tuesday, December 10, at 4 pm. This event is for children in grades 1-6 and involves creating a Santa’s Workshop or Holiday Village.

Chanukah Storytime Celebration: Occurring at the Bowmanville Library on Friday, December 27, from 11 am to 12 pm. This event is open to all ages and includes stories, songs, crafts, and traditional snacks, presented in partnership with the Chabad Jewish Centre of Durham Region.
