Clarington Library Announces Counting Week 2024

The Clarington Public Library, Museums, and Archives has announced that Counting Week 2024 will take place from Monday, November 18 to Sunday, November 24. This event is part of the information submitted to the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Gaming, as well as the Ministry of Sport.

During Counting Week, the library encourages community members to engage with their services. Residents can visit any of the library branches to attend programs, use computers, study, or borrow items. Additionally, the library offers online resources, including a mobile app for searching and borrowing electronic books and other digital materials.

The library will collect anonymous statistical data during this period, which will be shared with the provincial ministries. This data includes the circulation of various materials such as books, magazines, movies, and eBooks. The library aims to highlight the community's engagement with its services during this designated week.
