Clarington Libraries Host Halloween Events
The Clarington Public Library, Museums, and Archives have announced a series of Halloween-themed events for the community. These events are scheduled to take place at various library locations across Clarington.
- Monster Mash: This event is designed for children in grades JK-6. It will be held at the Courtice Library on Friday, October 25, from 10:30 to 11:30 am, and at the Newcastle Library from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. Activities will include music, stories, and crafts related to monsters. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes.
- Teen Spooktacular: Aimed at students in grades 7-12, this event will take place at the Bowmanville Library on Wednesday, October 23, from 6 to 8 pm. Attendees can enjoy true crime stories, haunting tales, and a screening of the classic film Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.
- Trick or Treat: On Halloween, October 31, all library locations will welcome visitors of all ages to show off their costumes and participate in trick-or-treating activities. This will be available while supplies last.
These events are part of the library's efforts to engage the community with seasonal activities and provide a safe environment for Halloween celebrations.
