Clarington Extends Feedback Deadline for Parks Master Plan

The Municipality of Clarington has extended the deadline for public feedback on its draft Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan (PRCMP) to October 15, 2024. This extension allows residents more time to review the plan and provide their input. The draft PRCMP includes recommendations for the future development of parkland, programs, and services in Clarington.

Residents can access the draft plan and submit their feedback through the Clarington website. The plan, which was developed with input from community members, staff, and council, aims to address the needs of the growing community by 2036. It includes proposals for new recreation opportunities, connected trail systems, and enhancements to the waterfront.

The final version of the PRCMP is scheduled to be presented to the Clarington Council for approval on October 28, 2024. Residents are encouraged to participate in the feedback process to help shape the future of parks and recreation in the area.
