Clarington Applies for Inclusive Communities Grant for Mobility Device Charging Stations

The Municipality of Clarington has applied to the Inclusive Communities Grant Program to install charging stations for mobility devices in public spaces. The decision to submit the application was made during the General Government Committee meeting on November 30, 2020, following discussions about the need for such facilities as outlined in Clarington's Multi-Year Accessibility Plan 2018-2023, which emphasizes the importance of accessibility in community planning.
