Clarington Announces Forestry Work in Residential Areas
The Municipality of Clarington has announced that forestry work will be conducted in several residential areas in the coming weeks. This work, known as block pruning, is intended to promote safe tree structures and improve tree health. The activities will include removing dead, diseased, broken, or dangerous branches, pruning for clearance over roadways, public walkways, and driveways, and trimming branches that come into contact with homes and other structures during normal weather conditions.
