Clarington Animal Shelter Receives $9,000 Donation from Pet Licensing Program

The Clarington Animal Shelter has received a $9,000 donation from DocuPet’s Safe&Happy Fund. This donation is a result of community participation in the pet licensing program.

The funds are allocated to support sheltering, veterinary care, and animal adoption services at the Clarington Animal Shelter. DocuPet has been Clarington’s official pet licensing partner since 2015, and the licensing fees assist in returning lost pets to their homes and supporting shelter operations.

Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster acknowledged the contribution's role in supporting local animals. Grant Goodwin, CEO of DocuPet, also commented on the impact of the donation and the licensing program.

Residents interested in participating in the pet licensing program can find more information on the official Clarington website.
