Check It Out: Sensory-Friendly Holiday Event in Bowmanville

The Autism Home Base in Bowmanville is hosting a sensory-friendly holiday event titled "Silent Night" on December 14, 2024. The event will run from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at 132 Church St, 2nd Floor, Bowmanville, ON L1C 1T5. This event is designed for families and friends with neurodivergent loved ones.

Attendees can enjoy a 45-minute session in the Hub space for a fee of $10 per person. Activities include interactive games, sensory spaces, music, holiday crafts, and cookie decorating. The event is structured with scheduled time slots to maintain small group interactions.

Participants are advised to bring indoor shoes or slippers if the weather is wet, as the event is held indoors. It is important to note that the venue is not wheelchair accessible. Tickets can be purchased online through Eventbrite.
