The Moonlight Magic & Christmas Market is scheduled to take place in Bowmanville on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The event will feature a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony on Temperance Street at 6:30 PM, accompanied by children's entertainment, carol singing, and a visit from Santa Claus.

Attendees can enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides along the main street and shop for handmade items at the Christmas Market. Food and beverages will be available from vendor tents and local restaurants. Local choirs and bell-ringers will provide musical entertainment, and there will be opportunities for photos with guest mascots. Donations for local food and toy drives are encouraged.

Parking will be free, but note that Temperance Street and the King Street parking lot will be closed all day Friday. Road closures will begin at 4:00 PM, with no street parking allowed after 3:00 PM. Alternative parking is available in municipal lots on Silver Street, Church Street, and Division Street, as well as on local side streets.
