Check It Out: Information Session on Salmon Restoration in Lake Ontario

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH) and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) are organizing an information session about the Lake Ontario Atlantic Salmon Restoration Program. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. It will take place at the Diane Hamre Recreation Complex, located at 1780 Rudell Road, Newcastle, Ontario.

This session aims to educate the public on efforts to reintroduce Atlantic Salmon to Lake Ontario. The event is free and open to all ages. It is organized by the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area Advisory Committee.
