Check It Out: Free Family Skate at Orono Arena

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is hosting a free public skating event at the Orono Arena & Community Centre. The event is scheduled for Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. This marks the first public skate of the season and is part of OPG's Darlington New Nuclear Project initiatives.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet members of the project team and learn about the advancements in Small Module Reactor (SMR) technology, which OPG is promoting as a future direction for nuclear power generation in Canada.

The event is free of charge and aims to engage the community with insights into nuclear technology developments. The Orono Arena & Community Centre is located at 2 Princess Street, Orono, Ontario.
