Check It Out: Edwardian Christmas Tours at Waverley Place
The Clarington Public Library is hosting Edwardian Christmas Holiday Tours at the Waverley Place historic house. These tours aim to showcase the festive decorations and traditions of the Edwardian era. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in parlour games and learn about historical foods and customs. The tours will commence at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre.
The event is open to all ages and operates on a drop-in basis. Scheduled dates for the tours are December 7 at 11:00 am, and December 14, 21, and 28 at either 11:00 am or 3:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for local food banks.
