Check It Out: Edwardian Christmas Tours at Waverley Place
The Clarington Public Library is hosting Edwardian Christmas Holiday Tours at the Waverley Place historic house. These tours are scheduled for December 7, 14, 21, and 28, 2024, with sessions at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. The tours are open to all ages and do not require prior registration.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore festive decorations, engage in parlour games, and learn about historical foods and traditions. The tours will commence at the Sarah Jane Williams Heritage Centre. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for local food banks.
