Check It Out: Applefest Returns to Bowmanville
Applefest is set to take place in Historic Downtown Bowmanville on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will feature a variety of apple-related products from local growers, including fresh apples, apple cider, pies, and more. Visitors can also enjoy an artisan and craft market with local vendors showcasing handmade items.
The festival offers free admission and parking. A new addition this year is a free shuttle service from Clarington Fields, located at 2375 Baseline Road, Bowmanville, to the festival site. Road closures will be in effect from Friday, October 18, 2024, at 6 p.m. to Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 7 p.m. King Street will be closed from Scugog Street to George Street, including parts of Division Street, Silver Street, and Temperance Street. Detours will be available via alternate local roads.
