CFIA Recalls SeoulMamma Shrimp Fried Rice for Undeclared Milk in Ontario

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall on June 14, 2024, for SeoulMamma brand Shrimp Fried Rice due to the presence of milk not declared on the label.

According to the CFIA, the affected product is sold in 454 g packages. Individuals who have an allergy to milk are advised by the CFIA not to consume the recalled product, as it could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. The CFIA reports that the recalled item was distributed in Ontario.

Consumers are instructed by the CFIA to either dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase. The agency stated that no allergic reactions associated with this product had been reported at the time the recall was announced.

The CFIA continues to oversee the recall and verify that the product is being removed from the marketplace.
