CFIA Issues Updated Recall for Binggrae Watermelon Ice Tube Due to Undeclared Milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated its recall notice for the Binggrae brand Power Cap Watermelon Flavored Ice Tube. The recall concerns the presence of undeclared milk in this product. The initial recall warning was issued on May 14, 2024, and has since been amended to include new information about additional distribution identified during the CFIA's food safety investigation.

According to the CFIA, the product contains milk that is not declared on the label. The agency advises that people with a milk allergy should not consume the recalled product due to the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction. No reports of allergic reactions related to the product have been confirmed by the agency at this time.
