The General Government Committee of Clarington discussed the Cedar Crest Beach Road and West Beach Road berm review during their meeting on November 30, 2020. The committee referred Report EGD-006-20 regarding the berm review and estimates to the January 4, 2021 General Government Committee meeting for further discussion. This referral follows a previous discussion during the Council meeting held on November 2-3, 2020.
The Orono Arena has reopened following a $3 million renovation. The upgrades include a new refrigerated floor under the ice pad, updated changing rooms and shower areas, and new rubber flooring throughout the facility. Additionally, the ice pad has been fitted with new rink boards and a heated penalty box.
