Cedar Crest Beach Erosion and Property Loss Study Commissioned

On May 11, 2020, the General Government Committee of Clarington lifted the matter of Report PSD-12-20 regarding the Cedar Crest Beach Update - Beach Erosion/Property Loss Study from the table. The committee resolved to receive the report and to award the consulting contract to the lowest bidder among qualified consultants, with a maximum budget of $30,000 allocated for the study. The study aims to assess beach erosion and property loss at Cedar Crest Beach. Staff will report back to Council with the results of the study once it is completed. All interested parties, including landowners in the Port Darlington (west shore) reach, will be informed of the Council's decision.
