The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) are scheduled to conduct Operation NANOOK-NUNALIVUT, focusing on Arctic defence and sovereignty. This operation will occur from February 23 to March 9, 2025, near Inuvik and the Mackenzie River Delta in the Northwest Territories.

The exercises are part of the CAF's operations aimed at enhancing military readiness in Arctic conditions. The event involves various military activities designed to ensure operational capability in remote and challenging environments.

Activities during the operation have been attributed to continuous efforts by the CAF to maintain a presence and operational readiness in the region.
