Canada Allocates $1.125 Million for Workforce Pilot in Northeastern Ontario
The Government of Canada has announced a funding initiative in Northeastern Ontario, involving an investment of $1,125,000. This announcement was made by Anthony Rota, Member of Parliament for Nipissing—Timiskaming. The funding, distributed through FedNor, is allocated to the North Bay and District Chamber of Commerce.
The financial support is intended for the implementation of the North Bay and Area Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP). This pilot project aims to attract skilled immigrants to the region, addressing local workforce shortages and promoting economic development.
