Bus Routes Detoured in Oshawa for Kars on King Event

Durham Region Transit has announced road closures in downtown Oshawa on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM due to the Kars on King event. The closures will affect several bus routes, which will be detoured as follows:

• PULSE 901: Service will divert via Gibb Street, Park Road, and Adelaide Avenue.
• PULSE 901C: Service will divert via Gibb Street, Park Road, and Adelaide Avenue.
• Route 902: Service will divert via Gibb Street, Park Road, Adelaide Avenue, and Ritson Road.
• PULSE 900: Eastbound service will divert via Park Road, Adelaide Road, and Ritson Road. Westbound service will divert via Mary Street, Adelaide Avenue, and Park Road.

All stops will be served along the detour routes. Additionally, temporary stops will be available at Simcoe Street northbound and southbound at Adelaide Avenue, and Park Road southbound at Bond Street.
