Brian Pollard Appointed as New Health System Executive at Lakeridge Health

Lakeridge Health has announced the appointment of Brian Pollard as the new Health System Executive, Clinical, effective April 8. Pollard will oversee areas including healthy aging, long-term care, complex continuing care, regional nephrology and diabetes, and family and community medicine. He will also support the Durham Ontario Health Team and lead population health engagement initiatives.

Pollard has over two decades of experience in strategic and operational leadership roles within the Government of Ontario, Ontario hospitals, and in government policy advocacy and consulting. His previous positions include Assistant Deputy Minister for the Long-Term Care Capital Development Division at the Ontario Ministry of Long-Term Care, where he managed the largest development program in recent provincial history.
