Break-and-Enter Incident at Oshawa Restaurant: Police Seek Suspect Information
A break-and-enter incident occurred at Viva Burritos on Centre Street North in Oshawa on Thursday, December 12, 2023. The suspect, described as a White male between 25 and 35 years old with brown hair, scruffy facial hair, and a slim build, reportedly used a rock to smash the restaurant’s front glass door to gain entry around 4:15 a.m. Stolen items included cash and electronics. After the intrusion, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
The Durham Region Police Service is requesting assistance from the community to help identify the individual involved. Individuals with any pertinent information are encouraged to reach out to Detective Constable Hutcheson from the Central East Criminal Investigation Bureau. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers.
