Bennett Road Closure Scheduled for September 11-13

Bennett Road will be closed at the CN rail crossing from Wednesday, September 11, to Friday, September 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. This closure is due to track and crossing reconstruction.

There will be a soft closure at Wilmot Creek Drive and Port Darlington Road, allowing local traffic to access homes and businesses up to the point of the hard closure at the railway crossing. A hard closure blocks the entire road, preventing all traffic, including motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles, from passing.

Residents are encouraged to use local alternative roads during this period. A map detailing the road closures is available for reference.
