Baseline Road Closure at CPKC Rail Crossing in Clarington

Baseline Road in Clarington will be closed at the CPKC rail crossing from October 21 to October 25. This closure is due to rail line reconstruction activities. The closure will affect the section of Baseline Road at the railway crossing, with soft closures at the intersections of Baseline Road and Rundle Road, and Baseline Road and Holt Road. A hard closure will be in place at the railway crossing itself.

Hard closures will prevent all traffic, including motorists, cyclists, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles, from passing through the area. Soft closures will allow local traffic to access homes, businesses, and properties up to the point of the hard closure.
