Astronaut Joshua Kutryk Participates in Underwater Lunar Mission Simulation

Canadian Space Agency astronaut Joshua Kutryk participated in NASA's SEATEST 7 underwater mission. The simulation took place on a lunar habitat mockup off Santa Catalina Island in California, at a depth of about nine meters. The mission aimed to test scenarios for future logistics operations on the Moon, recreating conditions and challenges associated with a permanent lunar presence.

Joshua Kutryk is also assigned to a six-month mission on the International Space Station, scheduled to launch no earlier than 2025. He continues his training and contributes to the Artemis program, which aims to establish a long-term presence on and around the Moon.
