Arrest Made in Ajax Prowling Incident
A male has been arrested after allegedly observing homeowners on their properties in Ajax.
On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at approximately 9:05 p.m., members of the West Division responded to multiple reports of a prowler in the vicinity of Georgina Drive and Brooks Road. The suspect reportedly entered the yards of several residences to watch the occupants through their windows. Officers, assisted by the K9 Unit, searched the area and located the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident.
Cleius George, age 53 from Whitby, faces several charges, including:
- Prowl at Night (x2)
- Secretly Observe Person Expecting Privacy (x4)
- Criminal Harassment
He was released on an Undertaking.
