The General Government Committee approved the request for a Noise By-law Exemption from the Region of Durham for the period from May 3, 2022, to May 31, 2022. The motion was moved by Councillor Zwart and seconded by Councillor Neal. Additionally, it was resolved that the Region of Durham would offer accommodation to residents if the work proceeds past 10 p.m. This decision was carried during the meeting held on April 11, 2022.
