Approval of High Street and O’Dell Street Reconstruction Project

The General Government Committee of Clarington approved the High Street and O’Dell Street Reconstruction Project during its meeting on May 6, 2024. The project has a total budget allocation of $1,726,400.00, which includes construction costs of $1,507,333.84 and additional expenses such as topographic surveys, geotechnical investigations, and material testing. GIP Paving Inc. was awarded the contract for the project, having submitted the lowest compliant bid. The contract award is subject to municipal resources at the time of construction and budget approval. The project also includes contingencies amounting to $219,066.16.
