Approval of Additional Funding for Shaw House Renovation
The General Government Committee of Clarington approved an additional funding allocation for the Shaw House renovation during its meeting on June 6, 2022. The resolution, moved by Mayor Foster and seconded by Councillor Zwart, allocated an amount not to exceed $200,000 from the Community Services Building Refurbishment Reserve Fund to the Shaw House Renovation Capital Project. This decision was made to support the ongoing renovation efforts aimed at preserving the historical significance of the Shaw House.
