Appointments to Local Boards and Committees

The General Government Committee of Clarington has made several appointments to local boards and committees during its meeting on November 25, 2019. Anna Camposeo has been nominated to the Durham Region Land Division Committee for a term ending December 31, 2022, or until a successor is appointed. Additionally, Sarah Taylor has been appointed to the Accessibility Advisory Committee for a term ending December 31, 2022, and Barry Carmichael has been appointed to the Newcastle Village Community Hall Board for a similar term. The committee also authorized the Municipal Clerk's Department to continue advertising for remaining vacancies on the Diversity Advisory Committee, Newcastle Arena Board, and the Livestock Valuers. The resignations of Dorothy Koziorz from the Diversity Advisory Committee, Steven Cooke from the Durham Region Land Division Committee, and Milton Dakin from the Livestock Valuers were received during the meeting.
