Annual Update from the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area Management Committee
During the General Government Committee meeting on February 3, 2025, the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area Management Advisory Committee (SWNAMAC) provided an annual update on their activities. This presentation was delivered by Chair Kate Potter and Vice-Chair Thomas Hossie.
SWNAMAC outlined their mandate to manage the Samuel Wilmot Nature Area in Clarington, focusing on conservation and community involvement. Recent projects include habitat restoration initiatives and educational programs aimed at informing the public about local ecological issues.
