Angela Clayton Appointed Interim CEO of Infrastructure Ontario

The Ontario government has appointed Angela Clayton as the interim President and CEO of Infrastructure Ontario. This decision was made with the unanimous support of Infrastructure Ontario's Board of Directors. Clayton is set to take over the role later this month, following the transition of the current President and CEO, Michael Lindsay, to Metrolinx.

Angela Clayton brings over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, having worked in both private and public sectors. Since 2021, she has served as the president of project delivery at Infrastructure Ontario. Her appointment aims to ensure a seamless transition and continued progress on critical infrastructure projects across the province.

Kinga Surma, the Minister of Infrastructure, expressed her support for Clayton's appointment, highlighting her previous collaborations with Clayton on various projects, including the Ontario Line. Surma stated that she looks forward to continuing their work together to build essential infrastructure for Ontarians.

Michael Lindsay, the outgoing CEO, will assume his new role at Metrolinx, where he will focus on the opening of the Eglinton Crosstown project as a priority. The transition is part of a broader leadership renewal at Metrolinx, as announced by the Ontario government.
