Amendments to Clarington’s Emergency Management Plan
On March 4, 2024, the General Government Committee approved significant amendments to Clarington’s Emergency Management Plan. The committee resolved to repeal By-Laws 2018-010, 2018-072, and 2022-28, which previously governed the emergency management framework. The new by-law, as attached to Report PUB-004-24, was subsequently approved to establish updated emergency management protocols. This decision was made to enhance the municipality's preparedness and response capabilities in emergencies.
