Adulam Foundation Proposes Ecotherapy Programming in Clarington

Daniela Glaser, Executive Director of the Adulam Foundation, presented an ecotherapy proposal to the General Government Committee on May 10, 2021. The proposal aims to establish ecotherapy programming in Clarington, emphasizing the need for a local site to enhance accessibility and allow for year-round activities. Glaser noted that the foundation has engaged in fundraising efforts, including the sale of raised garden beds with soil, seeds, and plants. The Adulam Foundation is seeking support from the Committee to identify land within Clarington for their programs, specifically requesting the Camp 30 lands. The foundation intends to preserve the historical structures on the site and utilize existing buildings to honor the area's history. The Committee referred the proposal to staff and the Jury Lands Foundation for further consideration.
