Additional Funds Approved for Shaw House Accessibility Renovations

The General Government Committee has approved additional funding for the Shaw House Renovation project, specifically aimed at enhancing accessibility. The committee has allocated an extra $131,170 from the Community Services Building Refurbishment Reserve Fund. Additionally, $193,830 of unspent capital project funds have been redirected to support these renovations.

This decision was made as part of Resolution # GG-028-24, with the details outlined in report FSD-010-24. The renovations are intended to improve access for individuals with disabilities, aligning with ongoing efforts to upgrade public facilities in Clarington.
