37-Year-Old Ajax Man Dies in Head-On Crash on Kingston Road East

A 37-year-old man from Ajax died after a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Kingston Road East in Ajax on Wednesday evening, according to Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS).

Police reported that emergency services responded to the scene, where the man was pronounced dead. The driver of the second vehicle was transported to a Toronto trauma centre with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Following the collision, DRPS closed Kingston Road East between Salem Road and Audley Road while members of the Collision Investigation Unit examined the scene. According to police, the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.

DRPS is asking anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage from the area to contact investigators.
