19-Year-Old in Critical Condition After Uxbridge Vehicle Accident
A 19-year-old male is in critical condition following a single-vehicle accident in Uxbridge. The incident occurred on November 20, 2024, at approximately 6:10 p.m. The driver was traveling westbound on Zephyr Road West in a grey GMC Sierra pickup truck when he lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over. The driver was ejected from the vehicle. A passing motorist discovered the accident and contacted emergency services. The injured driver was transported to a trauma center in Toronto with life-threatening injuries.
The Durham Regional Police Service's Collision Investigation Unit is conducting an investigation into the accident. Roads in the vicinity were closed for several hours to allow for evidence collection.
